The advantages and disadvantages of EU membership
In my opinion, the EU membership could bring a profit to Czech Republic because it can help us to improve our economy. As the main aims of EU can be considered promotion of economic and social progress, enter to international scene, introduction of European citizenship, developing of Europe as an area of freedom, security and justice and maintainability and building on established EU law.
On the positive side, there is a less chance to go to war with one another member state as well as it is easier for them to trade with each other. Another thing is you can move around more easily for both work and pleasure.
On the other hand, there is agricultural policy which says for example how much milk you can produce. Also, member states are not free to act alone in some situations. Of course, the EU costs money to run.
