lidský beign, můžeme to nyní zažít. Kvůli pandemii se lidé uvízli uvnitř a prostředí se uklidnilo. Žádné tovární dýmy, žádné spalování plastů, méně vozidel
INVITATION for an interactive webinar on the European Climate Pact on 14 July at 16.00-18.00 (CET)
Dear All,
Thank you very much for contributing to the public consultation on the European Climate Pact. We are very happy with the wide interest in the Pact, expressed through 3510 respondents to the survey and 130 participants in the first webinar. We are currently analysing all contributions.
Encouraged by the high quality of ideas gathered, we are inviting all respondents of the public consultation to discuss the Pact in more depth, to co-create its key elements, and to foster action. This will be possible during an interactive webinar on 14 July at 16:00-18:00 CET.
The webinar will be organised on Zoom and available in English.
The webinar is addressed to persons, organisations and networks interested in:
· Becoming an #EUCLimatePact Ambassador,
· Contributing to the Pact with their initiative or pledge,
· Co-creating the concrete mechanisms and actions to be part of the Pact.
No one can make a change. Everyone, can!

Webinar agenda
The webinar will include:
· a presentation of the key results of the public consultation,
· interactive breakout discussions (see the topics below),
· time for questions and answers.
A detailed agenda will be shared with the participants ahead of the session.
Thematic interactive sessions
The interactive part of the Webinar will be organised around potential activities and mechanisms to be organised within the Pact. On the basis of the responses to the public consultation and ideas gathered during the first webinar, we have prepared an initial list of topics. As we want you to fully co-create the agenda, we will also offer Topic 9: ‘Other potential actions within the Pact’, where you will be setting the topics for the discussions. During registration you will be able to choose your preferred thematic session.
1. Charter of the Pact
This group will focus on the main values that the European Climate Pact should be based on. It will also discuss the principles and rules of joining the Pact.
2. Storyline of the Pact – drafting session
This group will have an opportunity to draft key messages of the introduction to the official Commissions’ Communication on the European Climate Pact, focusing on the wording for the main storyline and rationale of the Pact.
3. #EUClimatePact Ambassadors
This group will design the main elements and principles of becoming a Pact Ambassador. We are also looking for people interested in actually becoming Pact Ambassadors!
4. Individual climate pledges
This group will be invited to think of a list of climate pledges that an individual person can make to contribute to the Pact through their everyday life. The group will also consider practical aspects and mechanisms of submitting and monitoring progress through such pledges.
5. Organisational climate pledges
This group will be asked to think of a list of climate pledges that can be made by private, public, academic and non-governmental organisations. The group will also consider practical aspects and mechanisms of submitting and monitoring progress through such pledges. We are also already looking for the first Pledgers!
6. Knowledge sharing, including thematic webinars
We would like such a dialogue among climate supporters to continue after this Webinar, towards the Pact launch and after. This group will design an initial concept of thematic webinars, in which climate supporters of all types could present their knowledge, initiatives, share experiences, engage in sectoral discussions, spread know-how. The group can also suggest other knowledge sharing activities that the Pact could offer.
7. Support offered by the Pact
This group will discuss the types of support that the Pact could offer in practical, concrete terms: financial (what is the size of grants needed for grass root initiatives? How could they be allocated?), capacity building (what kind of knowledge would be useful for supporting climate activists and boosting grass root initiatives? What would be the preferred channels and formats?), and any other kinds of useful support.
8. Climate education
The OPC results suggests that the Pact should provide education and training related to climate change-related issues. In this group, participants will come up with project ideas on how concretely the Pact could support climate awareness raising in various societal groups.
9. Other potential actions within the Pact
This group is dedicated to persons, who would like to exchange ideas on what other mechanisms and actions could be included in the Pact (apart from those presented above). The group will create a list of potential actions, and design a few chosen ones in more detail.
We are looking forward to the discussions on 14 June.
