The advantages and disadvantages of EU membership

In my opinion, the EU membership could bring a profit to Czech Republic because can help us to improve our economy. As the main aims of EU can be considered to promote economic and social progress, enter to international scene, introduce European citizenship, develop Europe as an area of freedom, security and justice and maintain and build on established EU law.
On the plus side, there is a less chance to go to war with one another member state as well as it is easier for them to trade with each other. Another thing is you can move around more easily for both work and pleasure.
On the other hand, there is agricultural policy which says for example how much milk you can produce. Also, member states are not free to act alone in some situations. Last but not least, the EU costs money to run.
In conclusion, the EU is great idea but is very important to consider how it should work. If it is not, it will not efficaciously work.
